ABOUT RAJITA

Rajita is a native of India, motivational speaker, chef, dancer, and teaches at St. Lawrence College. Rajita has a wide range of passions stemming from her interest in food, dance, and motivation. Using these tools, she wants to inspire and empower anyone and everyone around her. She has been delivering multiple motivational speeches and workshops at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Jersey, USA, Queen’s University, different colleges and organizations in Ontario, and the Kingston community. In 2017, Rajita gave a keynote speech for new faculty members from five various colleges from other parts of Ontario, Canada. She received an honorarium award from Algonquin College. She engages her audience with captivating stories about her challenges, triumphs, and her motivational philosophy of food, dance, and motivation. Rajita has inspired and touched the lives of thousands of people. Others have described the way she connects with people as remarkable and quite natural. Rajita believes that connecting with self and others is an integral part of life. She has taken great risks to become a motivational speaker. After years of searching and self-discovery, she finally found her purpose. She leads a life fueled by the desire to serve, uplift, and empower people to find their purpose. Rajita’s educational experience spans the globe. With credentials from three International educational institutes, such as a Culinary Management Diploma from St Lawrence College in Canada, a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Management from Hammersmith College in London UK, and Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Osmania University in India, she has diverse global work experience. During the past eighteen years working in four different countries (India, UK, USA, Canada), Rajita led her life by instinct and listening to the inner voice. That inner voice was passion. This passion led her to the right place at the right time. Rajita is passionate about inspiring and guiding people to discover their greatness and recognize the greatness in others. Whatever the challenges we face, Rajita shows audiences that we will bring growth to self, workplaces, and community when we discover our true potential and ignite enthusiasm for what we do.

Rajita’s decision to leave India and pursue her career in London, UK, made a huge difference in her life. Her first job in the UK as a customer service assistant at Compass Group turned out to be a stepping stone to success. With her drive and dedication, she was promoted to a Relief Manager within four years. In this position, she managed 27 units across East London. Rajita was growing professionally and evolving personally. What she didn’t realize at the time was that the lessons she was learning from her career in the hospitality industry were not only grooming her for professional success, they were also preparing her for something far greater.

BURNING DESIRE

In 2004, Rajita attended Anthony Robbin’s seminar, “Unleash the Power Within,” which took place in London. It was the first time Rajita heard of a life skills seminar. This important experience piqued her curiosity and resulted in meeting Tony Robbins! Seeing Tony on stage in front of 10,000 people brought excitement and a sense of curiosity. Something spoke to her inside, and she felt “this is my true calling”, and she instantly felt inclined to pursue her life passion and become a motivational speaker. She became determined and knew that she would be on a stage inspiring the minds of today to be better tomorrow one day.

TURNING PASSIONS TO PURPOSE

The day Rajita started working as a Chef at a drug addiction rehabilitation centre, she instantly felt right at home and began connecting and inspiring clients with her food, dance, and motivational rapport. Her loving and caring nature helped clients on their road to recovery. She has given and received so much love and respect from clients and management. Rajita truly embodies the famous aphorism “You get what you give”. After years of searching and self-discovery, she finally found her passions and purpose at drug addiction rehab centre Light. Rajita found her why. Clients delivered speeches and wrote letters on the massive impact Rajita made in their lives, and her four years of experience at drug addiction rehab centre made all the difference. It was her most rewarding and fulfilling career; also, Rajita found herself and recognized her “True calling in life”.

A DREAM REALIZED

Rajita’s 12 year-long dreams finally come true while attending St. Lawrence College. She delivered her first motivational talk about her life story, her challenges, and her triumphs. Students who attended the talk and dance workshop were enthralled and intrigued by her boundless energy and personal stories. Since then, Rajita has been sharing her message with thousands of students, faculty, and community members. In 2017, St. Lawrence College selected Rajita’s story as the most inspiring and motivating speech. She was allowed to give a keynote speech for new faculty members from five Ontario colleges in Canada. As a result, Algonquin College presented Rajita with an honorarium award. She is now giving motivational talks and dance workshops in various departments at different Colleges and organizations in Ontario. Rajita’s future is bright, and she thanks all of those who have helped make her dreams happen.
